What Information We Collect

The information we collect is limited to what we believe is necessary or useful to conduct our business; to administer your records, accounts and funds; to comply with laws and regulations; and to understand your financial needs so that we can improve product and service quality.

"Non-public personal information" is private information about you that we obtain in connection with providing a financial product or service to you. For example, non-public personal information includes information regarding your account balance, payment history, and overdraft history. We may collect, retain and use "non-public personal information" about you from the following sources:

  • Information we receive from you on applications or other loan and account forms
  • Information about your accounts or transactions with us, our affiliates or others including account balances, account activity and payment history.
  • Information we receive from consumer reports, such as information regarding your creditworthiness or credit history.

What Information We Disclose

We are permitted under law to disclose non-public personal information about you to other third parties in certain circumstances. For example, we disclose non-public personal information about you to third parties to assist us in servicing your loan or account with us, to government entities in response to subpoenas, and to credit bureaus. We do not disclose any non-public personal information about you to anyone, except as permitted by law. As examples, we may disclose information to service providers in order to help us to:

  • Comply with laws and regulations
  • Process or complete account transactions
  • Administer or enforce a transaction
  • Design and improve our products and services
  • Print checks

When we enter a contractual agreement with a service provider, we prohibit them from disclosing or using that information for any other purpose.

If you decide to close your account(s) or your account becomes inactive, we will continue to adhere to the privacy policies and practices described in this notice.

In addition, we may disclose all of the information we collect, as described above in the section "What Information We Collect," to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with which we have joint marketing agreements.

Sharing With Companies That Work With Us

In order to conduct company business, and to offer products or services that may complement your relationship with us, we may share some or all of the information we collect, as described above, with the following companies (including our affiliates):

  • Companies that perform services for us or on our behalf, such as vendors we hire to prepare account statements or to provide support for one or more of our products and services.

These companies act on our behalf, and are contractually obligated to keep the information we provide them confidential and to use the information only for the purposes authorized.

Our Security Procedures

We are committed to maintaining the security of our Customers' financial and personal information. All operational and data processing systems are in a secure environment that protects Customer information from being accessed by unauthorized individuals or third parties. Access to non-public information about you is restricted to those Associates who need to know that information in order to provide products or services to you. We train all employees to recognize and respect your privacy. The bank maintains physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with standards to guard your non-public personal information. Correspondence and telephone conversations are monitored for quality, compliance, and accuracy to ensure that our standards are being followed.

From time to time, we may enter into agreements with other companies to provide services to us or to make products and services available to you. Under these agreements, the companies may receive information about you. They must safeguard this information, and they may not use it for any other purpose.

Cookies and Browsers

We use cookies to maintain a visitor's navigation state within our site and online banking system. We do not store personally identifiable information in these cookies, and we do not read any cookies that we did not specifically place. Neither do we use cookies to track your web browsing patterns or for any other marketing purpose.
