We've made it easy for you to access free electronic statements for your Savings, Chequing, Credit Card and Business accounts. With eStatements you can view, download or print an electronic version of your statement that looks just like the paper version you used to receive by mail.

  1. E-Statements allow you to view your monthly statements electronically through First Global’s online banking platform, Global Access. E-statements replace your paper statements. They include the same information that your paper statement does, including images of the back and front of your cheques if you are a Chequing Account Holder.
  • e-statements are beneficial to you because they are:
    1. Secure: Accessing your e-Statements via our secure online banking platform, Global Access means that your information is protected by the highest level security measures. To benefit from the security of the FGB Online Service Guarantee, you need to do your part to help us protect your information and finances. It is your responsibility to protect your Internet Banking credentials and do not share them.
    2. Convenient:

      Once you access your E-Statement, you can then print and/or save it on your computer for future access.

    3. Fast:

      E-Statement notifications are sent directly to your online banking profile, with a monthly alert by email. No more waiting for the postman to deliver the mail.

    4. Free:

      There is no charge for this service.

e-Statements are not currently available in the FGB Mobile App.

No, your e-Statements will not be sent via email. A notification that the previous month’s statement is available will be sent to your email address on record. You will then be able to view your e-Statement by logging into Global Access.

To make this change we ask that you visit the nearest First Global Branch to complete and sign a Customer Details Amendment Form to request this update on your customer record. You will also need to present your valid Government issued ID.

No, physical cheques will no longer be sent to you. Instead, images of the front and back of your cheques will be included in your e-Statements.

Your cheques will be held securely by First Global for a minimum of 3 months following the encashment date.

E-statements for each of your accounts will be accessible via Global Access. Separate notifications for each account will be sent to the email address on your customer record.

As a security measure, e-Statements are only accessible via First Global’s secure online banking platform, Global Access. We therefore encourage you to visit the nearest First Global Branch to sign up for Global Access so you can start viewing your e-Statements.

If you wish to opt out of receiving e-Statements, you will need to visit any First Global Branch to get printed copies of the statements as physical statements will no longer be mailed out. You will also need to notify the bank in writing or via secured message that you do not want e-Statements.

No. Physical statements will still be printed and mailed out for accounts classified as Senior Citizen.

If you have Global Access, your e-Statements will be accessible by logging into your account. If you do not have Global Access then you will need to visit any First Global Branch to sign up. You may also advise First Global in writing or via secured message if you no longer require printed statements.

Corporate Account Holders will also access e-Statements via Global Access.

Corporate Account Holders who have access to specific accounts and account details will only have access to those e-Statements.

You will receive statements monthly in Global Access. Statements will be generated within 5 days of the end of each month.

Global Access can be accessed using most major, popular browsers including Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox and Safari.

E-Statements for the previous 6 months will be accessible via Global Access.

If your joint account gives you access to the account transaction details then you also have access to the e-Statements for that jointly held account.
