Dave DaCosta was appointed Vice President, Digital Marketing and Communications in July 2017. His portfolio includes driving integrated, offline and online marketing programs that create demand for FGB’s products, establishing brand credibility and accelerating growth across all business lines.
It also includes managing the creation of marketing and communications campaigns, promotions, and brand experiences and ensuring optimization of FGB’s web, mobile, and other electronic channels to provide a cohesive customer experience. Prior to joining the FGB team, Dave held the position of Director of Marketing at Yello Media Group where he led the development and launch of the Yello brand across 21 markets. He has held several lead marketing roles at Diageo working with global brands such as Guinness, Johnnie Walker, Baileys and Smirnoff in the UK, Ireland, Ghana and the Caribbean and Central America.
He holds a Master of Science in International Marketing from Robert Gordon University at Aberdeen School of Business, Scotland, Graduate (MBA) Certificate from Tulane University as well as a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Almeda University and a Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, University of Technology. Dave is an experienced digital marketer and a graduate of We Are Squared (Google UK). He is an avid cricket and football fan.
